Adult and Youth Swim Programs

2026 Winter Swim Classes

Build and strengthen your swimming ability in a safe and fun environment with our premium youth and adult swim classes. Our classes range from beginner to advanced, all led by our expert swim instructors.

*Swim Programs are NON-REFUNDABLE and missed classes by students will not be made up

*Aquatics Director reserves the right to move a swimmer up or down a level if swim level is not appropriate for class enrolled in.

How to Enroll

Via Gymmaster App

  1. 1Log onto your Gymmaster app.
  2. 2On the menu bar select "Memberships"
  3. 3Click the "+" sign on the bottom right of the screen.
  4. 4Select the swim program you'd like to enroll in from the appropriate category.
  5. 5Complete all forms including the Child Questionnaire at the end if enrolling a child.

Via Website

  1. 1Visit this webpage.
  2. 2Select the category you wish to enroll in from the drop-down menu below.
  3. 3Select either the Member or Non-Member option.
  4. 4Complete all forms including the Child Questionnaire at the end if enrolling a child.

How to Enroll Multiple Participants

  • Desktop Gymmaster: After completing your first purchase and returning to the home screen, click on Purchase > Buy a New Membership > Select the swim program.
  • Gymmaster App: On the options bar go to Memberships > Click "+" > Select the swim program.
  • Non-members: After completing your first purchase, login with the credentials you just created > click on Purchase > Buy a New Membership > Select the swim program.
  • Children who are not members of Sportspark will qualify for member rates as long as the parent/guardian completing the registration is a Sportspark member.
  • You must be a member prior to registering for class in order to receive the member rate. No exceptions.
  • Sportspark reserves the right to alter, change, or cancel any classes.
  • All swimmers ages 6+ years must wear bathing caps.

Purpose: Builds basic water safety skills for both parents and children, helping infants and young children ages 6 months to about 2 years become comfortable in the water so they are willing and ready to learn to swim.

  • Adjusting to the water environment
  • Showing comfort while maintaining a front or back position in the water
  • Demonstrate breath control, including blowing bubbles or voluntarily submerging under water

Purpose: Gives young children about ages 4 and 5 a positive, developmentally appropriate aquatic learning experience that emphasizes water safety, survival and foundational swimming concepts.

Learning Objectives:

  • Water Comfort and Buoyancy: Developing comfort in the water, blowing bubbles, submerging face, floating with support, and basic kicking
  • Water Safety Awareness: Introduction to basic water safety rules, recognizing lifeguards, and understanding pool environments
  • Water Movement and Exploration: Basic arm movements, introduction to freestyle/front crawl, and introduction to backstroke
  • Stroke Development: Refining freestyle/front crawl and backstroke techniques
  • Introduction to Treading Water: Basic treading water techniques, including staying afloat and basic scissor kick
  • Water Safety Skills: Basic self-rescue techniques, recognizing and responding to water emergencies

Intermediate to Advanced Swimming Experience Required

Purpose: Next class level after Adult Intermediate Swim.

Learning Objectives:

  • Technique Refinement: Enhance the efficiency and mechanics of freestyle and backstroke
  • Focus on developing proper breaststroke form, emphasis on timing and coordination
  • Working on components of the butterfly stroke, with emphasis on body movement and rhythm
  • Master rhythmic, bilateral breathing for freestyle
  • Practice flip turns and open turns with consistency for both freestyle and backstroke
  • Introduce turns for breaststroke, with a focus on smooth transitions
  • Complete extended swim sets (e.g., 100-200-yard repeats) focusing on maintaining stroke form and breathing technique
  • Learn to incorporate elements of the individual medley (IM), building endurance and versatility
  • Practice safe diving techniques from the pool edge or starting blocks with a focus on streamline entry

Teen Swim Clinic (NEW!)

NEWTeen Swim Clinic
Members $200

Coming in 2026, Sportspark will be introducing an extensive 8-week swim course for teens which aims to enhance their skills and confidence with existing swimming abilities, while providing a structured environment for improvement. Swimmers will receive personalized coaching focused on technique, refinement, endurance building, and speed enhancement. Swim Clinic is designed to foster a supportive teen community, encourage peer motivation, and develop skills that translate into both competitive and recreational swimming success.
