Owned and operated by the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation, Sportspark is a 44,300 square foot athletic complex with a regulation size basketball court, ½ sized Olympic swimming pool, fitness center complete with a weight room, recreational room with several tabletop games and lounge-style seating, and a group fitness studio.

Yes, the Drop-In rate is $25.00 per day for adults 18 and over and $15 per day for children 17 and under. We accept cash, check, or credit card. We DO NOT accept Apple Pay.

Drop ins are given access to unlimited use of the swimming pool, basketball court, recreation room, and fitness center for the day. Drop ins should keep in mind that Sportspark does restrict access to several spaces to host member-only and paid programs, which are announced well in advance and are reflected in our programming schedules. We encourage all drop ins to check our programming schedules before arriving and purchasing a drop in pass. Drop ins will not have access to member-only and paid programs.

We do not offer complementary guest passes to our members. If you wish to bring a friend, a family member, or colleague to Sportspark they will be charged as a standard drop in user.

Yes, but the user must provide their own lock, and locker contents must be removed at the end of each visit.

All youth ages 12 and under must be actively supervised by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 at Sportspark at all times. Teens ages 13-17 are not required to be actively supervised by a parent/guardian. However, they will require a parent/guardian to be present during initial sign-up and teens must have their parent/guardian review, approval and provide a signature on the application.

• •NO animal is permitted in the pool area.
• •NO one is permitted in the swimming pool if lifeguard is not on duty.
• •ALL bathers must take a shower in the locker room before entering the pool.
• •Swim caps are required for all swimmers.
• •Bathing suits must be worn on the deck and in the water. Men's bathing attire must have mesh lining. Plain white T-shirts may be worn over bathing suits if desired. Changing is to be done in the locker rooms only, not anywhere inside the pool area.
• •Patrons must provide and use their own combination padlock to safeguard their belongings. Small luggage type locks are not permitted. No responsibility is assumed for the loss of unattended articles inside the facilities. Everyone must remove all items and locks from the lockers after each session. Any locks that remain at the end of each day will be cut and items will be disposed of.
• •NO Sneakers or shoes are permitted on the pool deck. Rubber flip flops or water shoes are permitted.
• •Eating or drinking is NOT permitted in the pool. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
• •NO urinating, defecating, spitting, spouting water, blowing of nose, or discharging bodily waste.
• •NO person will be permitted in the pool having: "skin lesions, sores, or inflamed eyes, mouth, nose, or ear discharge, or having any type of bandage, adhesive, tape, etc. on their body." Any person having an infectious or communicable sickness is prohibited from using the pool.
• •Absolutely, NO DIVING anywhere in the pool.
• •NO running or horseplay allowed anywhere in the pool area.
• •NO children under the age of 13 years are allowed in the pool area without adult supervision. In the water, the minimum adult guardian to child ratio for children ages 4-10 is 3 children to 1 adult. The ratio for children ages 3 and under is 1 adult guardian to 1 child.
• •ALL spectators must watch from the designated bleacher area. The pool deck is restricted to swimmers and lifeguards only.
• •During and in advance notice of thunder and/or lightning, pool activities should remain suspended until thirty minutes after the last thunder is heard or noticed.
• •Strollers must be kept organized along designated areas at the front desk lobby.
• •Emergency evacuation path (Hallways/Exit doors) must always be kept clear.
