Fields
Capobianco Field
Located across the street from 595 Main Street.
*Permits are available on all days.
Firefighters Field
Located across the street from 405 Main Street.
*Open play until further notice.
Important Notice - Effective May 10th, 2025
Volleyball nets will no longer be allowed on Firefighters Field or any field. This change is necessary due to the excessive wear and tear the nets and related activities have caused to the field, resulting in significant turf damage.
Pony Field
Located just south of 888 Main Street.
*Permits are available on all days.
McManus Field
(formerly known as Octagon Field)
Permits are available during the following days/hours:
| Monday & Thursday | 4:00pm - 10:00pm |
| Tuesday & Wednesday | 6:00pm - 10:00pm |
| Friday | 2:00pm - 6:00pm |
| Sunday | 8:00am - 10:00pm |
| Saturday | *No permits issued. |
Permitting Schedule and Payment Information
Outdoor field bulk permit application schedule:

| Spring and Summer (April 1st - August 31st) | March 11th - March 21st |
| Fall and Winter (September 1st - December 31st) | June 1st - June 10th |
*When the bulk application period closes, any submitted requests will be permitted on a first come, first serve basis.
Attention Roosevelt Island Permit Holders: The Civic Permits reservation system is now accepting credit card payments online.
Checks can be delivered to the Permits Department at 550 Main Street or mailed to 426 Main Street, NY, NY 10044.
*RIOC may adjust the fee schedule and categories at its discretion.
